In the last few days, a good meter of fresh snow has fallen on an already substantial base in Bakhmaro. At the same time, a sometimes stormy wind has transported the snow heavily. Temperatures
are currently low, but it has been quite warm in the sun today. This means that the snow will have settled well on south and southwest slopes.
This is a very good starting point at the end of November.
We were able to do our first ski tours this season at the end of October. Snow in October is nothing unusual. This meant that a nice base developed early on and we could have started the season
already in November.
The snowfall of the past few days, combined with the wind, has covered up further uneven areas such as small stream beds, rocks and small trees. Perfect starting conditions....
These pics are from today!
Around 40 days before arrival, Tamta will send you some information about your arrival. In the email, she will also ask for your final flight and/or hotel plans so that we can start planning the transfer in good time.
We will send you the final pick-up times for the transfer buses a few days before your arrival.
Attached to the email will be an Excel file that will ask for the transfer details and any rental equipment. Of course, changes can still be made later.
During the season we send out a link to this snow report every week to inform you as a freerider about the snow conditions and the course of the season, to give tips for your tour and to introduce the team. Of course we also want to increase the anticipation. If you no longer wish to receive the link, you can unsubscribe from the snow report at any time. With the end of the season we also stop the weekly snow report.
