Snow- & Weather report

There was no further snowfall. Sunny and cloudy days alternated. During the day, temperatures were sometimes above freezing and at night it was significantly colder. In Bakhmaro there was widespread surface hoar with crystals several centimeters in size.

Freeride & Tour

We didn't do any skiing last week.

One team took advantage of the good weather and drove with 3 Pistebullys towards the Wolfsbett Hut and project X to check that everything was OK and to position the first cats at project X. There is a solid base of more than a meter along the entire route.

This week we also held our season kick-off. A team meeting to discuss news and finalize plans for the season. Of course, this always includes a shared dinner - traditionally with a Swiss dish. This year we had raclette.

Georgian Raclette Cheese - no, this is not a traditional type of cheese in Georgia, but is produced by the Swiss Agricultural School in Kakheti.

Rentals

We have a pool of high-end 4FRNT freeride skis in Bakhmaro. All freeride skis are coming with poles and skins. Some of the skis are equipped with high-quality shift bindings, some with frame bindings.

We have the Raven (104), Hoji (112) and Renegade (122) models in lengths of 170, 177, 184 and 191. Due to the different lengths, we urgently need a reservation.

In addition to the freeride skis, we also have a very limited selection of Nitro splitboards and Jones powderboards for rent.


During the season we send out a link to this snow report every week to inform you as a freerider about the snow conditions and the course of the season, to give tips for your tour and to introduce the team. Of course we also want to increase the anticipation. If you no longer wish to receive the link, you can unsubscribe from the snow report at any time.
