Snow- & Weather report

Within a few days, two snowstorms with wind speeds of over 100 km/h swept across the Lesser Caucasus. The first one brought a good 2 meters of fresh snow. Today's snowstorm is not included.

I was briefly in Bakhmaro yesterday, but since both the power and the telephone network were out, I drove back down into the valley.

Freeride & Tour

I myself was in Kazakhstan for a week to see what the competitors are doing, to gain new impressions and to have fun. Kazakhstan is definitely worth a trip.

Due to the massive snowfall and the high risk of avalanches, only limited skiing would have been possible in Bakhmaro in the past few days. Tomorrow we will try to reach Bakhmaro by cat.

Tips & Infos

Split- & Powderboards

We have 3 splitboards from Nitro for rent and 4 powderboards from Jones. The boards can be rented weekly or for a day.

The splitboards are available in lengths 159, 162 and 164 and come with skins, crampons and poles.

For powderboards we have the Mind Expander in 158 & 166 and the Storm Chaser in 152 & 157 from Jones.


During the season we send out a link to this snow report every week to inform you as a freerider about the snow conditions and the course of the season, to give tips for your tour and to introduce the team. Of course we also want to increase the anticipation. If you no longer wish to receive the link, you can unsubscribe from the snow report at any time. With the end of the season we also stop the weekly snow report.
