In 2022 it was time to start a new project. We open up a new area
We scouted this area years ago. Last year we explored a great part of it, but there are still areas, we have not skies yet. There are tree runs, open slopes and most of all lots of snow! On bad
weather days we can start directly from the huts. On good weather days we can go up to 2'600m.
For now we have not heard anything from other people trying to follow us. So we might be alone there once more. We will have two groups in the area.
In 2022 we have build a twin hut in an open space below the tree-line. The area is protected from wind and avalanches.
The two huts are connected by the living and dining area. 3 Bathrooms equiped with toilet, sink and shower are below the dining area. We might even get a sauna there, but I do not promiss.
In total we have got 8 rooms for 2 groups. The rooms have bunk beds and are for 2, 3 or 4 riders.
Despite the simple accommodation, we will take care of some basic comfort. It is back to our roots - all about the powder...
A new area means a lot of adventure and uncertainties. Therefore, the freeriders involved should be able to draw on sufficient experience.
It makes sense to carry skins in your backpack. Since the area is undeveloped, there are no guides who know their way around. Surprises are possible. We will further explore the area during the
season.
Accommodation is inevitably basic. We are currently planning to have 2 groups in parallel. Last but not least, this increases safety.
The culinarical well-being is also well taken care of. We have a local team of chefs and kitchen assistants who prepare fresh food every day.
In the morning there is a rich breakfast including muesli, fresh fruit, egg dishes, homemade bread and local specialties.
We take a lunch box for lunch so that we don't lose a lot of food during the day. On bad weather days we can always come to the hut and warm up with a hot soup or Burano a warm Adjarian cheese
dish..
Typical Georgian dishes are then cooked in the evening. Georgian cuisine is hearty and varied. Meals come on the table in bowls and plates, so everyone can take what they like. That way we also
take care of individual diets.
